SOPHOMORE CLASS MEETING

Voted, Class Rush Not to be Re-instituted.--Other Business.

At a meeting of the Sophomore class last night it was resolved not to re-institute the annual rush between the Sophomore and Freshman classes, abolished last year by the class of 1907.

The class also passed the following resolution on the death of Robert Huntington Jacobs:

Whereas, in the sad death of Robert Huntington Jacobs on September 7 the class of 1908 has sustained a deep loss, be it resolved, that an appreciation of its loss be expressed by the class, and that such an expression be sent to the members of his family.

At this meeting, also, it was further resolved to collect a sum of money towards the establishment of the trophy-room in the Union, and to provide for a class smoker to be held during October.
