Rev. Lyman Abbott of New York will deliver a lecture on "The Democracy of the Ancient Hebrews" next Friday evening at 7.30 o'clock in the Shepard Room, Phillips Brooks House, under the auspices of the Christian Association.

Dr. Abbott graduated from the University of New York in 1853 and after beginning his career in the law, entered the ministry. In addition, he has always given a great deal of his time to literary work. He is the author of many religious treatises and other words, and for the last six years has been editor of "Outlook."
