In the interclass tennis match yesterday between the winners of the Senior and Junior tournaments, W. P. Blagden '04 defeated M. H. Birckhead '03, 6-2, 2-6, 3-6, 6-4, 6-4. Both men played erratically and were weak on back hand strokes. Blagden, however, had the stronger service and ordinarily used a faster and more effective stroke.

The final match for the interclass championship will be played at 3 o'clock this afternoon between W. P. Blagden '04 and J. I. B. Larned '05. Blagden should win the match, but as the two men play in an entirely different manner, the result is uncertain. Blagden plays a hard, fast game, while Larned playes a slow, but very steady, game.

The matches played yesterday in the trials for the University tennis team resulted as follows: J. I. B. Larned '05 defeated K. Smith '05, 6-0, 6-3; G. Clark '03 defeated A. Hoe '04, 7-5, 6-1, and S.
