The interclass track games, held on Soldiers Field yesterday afternoon, resulted in a victory for the Seniors with a total of 37 points. The Juniors scored 32 points, the Sophomores 21, and the Freshmen 14. The weather was not so favorable for running as it was when the handicap games were held last week. The track was a little heavier and a slight wind blew against the men in the stretch.

The meet was, nevertheless, made especially interesting by the exceptionally good performances in several of the events. In the shot put, LeMoyne, with a put of 46 ft., 8 in., came within 2 inches of equaling the University record made by him in the New York Athletic Club games last winter. In the pole vault R. B. Gring '05 cleared 11 ft., 5 1-2 in., which was within 1-2 inch of the University record established by him at Philadelphia on April 23.

The distance runs resulted in several exciting finishes. In the two-mile run A. King 1L. and R. H. Bollard '05 ran a pretty race, King finally winning by a few yards in 10 m., 9 s. Bollard was a second behind him. In the 880-yard run F. S. Buffum '04 barely defeated S. Curtis '05 by a hard sprint on the home stretch.
