Spring football practice began yesterday on Soldiers Field, and will be held daily at 4 o'clock until the April recess. Twenty-seven men reported and were put through the elementary work, consisting of a few fast starts, kicking and falling on the ball. The work was spirited and gave evidence of promising material.
All men, who intend trying for the team next fall, are expected to come out. The work will be under the direction of Head Coach E. N. Wrightington '97 and such graduates as are available. Attention will be given to individuals with a particular view of drilling the candidates for the early practice next fall.
