Freshmen Won at Basketball.

The Freshman basketball team defeated the Boston English High School in the Gymnasium last night by the score of 15 to 1. Carelessness, both in passing and covering, characterized the Freshman play throughout the game. Smith and Burnham played well for the Freshmen on the offense, but covered poorly when the ball changed hands. Had the basket-shooting of the High School been more accurate the listless playing of the Freshman team might have lost them the game.

The line-up was as follows: FRESHMEN.  HIGH SCHOOL. Reed, McDonald, l.f.  r.f., Smith Howard, Kempner, r.f.  l.f., McCarthy Smith, MacAusland, c.  c., Ayer Bursham, l.g.  r.g., Mahas MacAusland, Clark, r.g.  l.g., Munroe
