Bancroft Cup Shoot.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The October shoot for the Bancroft cup, held by the Gun Club yesterday afternoon on Soldiers Field was won by H. H. Bartlett 2L., who broke 18 out of a possible 20 birds thrown at unknown angles. W. T. Kissel '08 was second, with a score of 15. The cup is to become the permanent property of the winner of four successive victories or a total of seven victories. Bartlett now leads with four non-consecutive victories; R. C. Foster 3L., is second, having won twice.

As this is the last shoot before the vacation, the club house will be closed until early in January, when the shoots between class teams will begin.
