The Freshman football practice yesterday afternoon consisted of a line-up between the first and second teams, which lasted about 40 minutes. Both teams played a better game than at any other time thus far this season, and the defense of the first was noticeably improved. The offensive work was fast and the interference good, although the tendency to fumble was more or less in evidence in both teams. In the last part of the scrimmage the first eleven played with snap and dash and went through the second team's line for good gains at almost every play.
The line-up of the first team was: Hadden, l.e.; Pell, l.t.; Harrah, l.g.; Grant, c.; Talbot,; r.g.; Pell, r.t.; Ball, r.e.; Newhall, q.b.; Lincoln, l.h.b.; Apollonio, r.h.b.; Markoe, f.b.
