Professor W. R. Spalding will give the fifth of his series of weekly lectures in reference to the Boston Symphony concerts at 4.30 o'clock this afternoon, in the Fogg Lecture Room. He will give today a brief comment on the sonata form and its modifications. Selections, by way of illustration, will be played on the Aeolian Orchestrelle.
The lecture will be open to the public.
