Yale defeated Princeton in football on Saturday in a hard-fought game by the score of 12-0. Yale's superiority lay in the unity of her attack and the strength of her line, as well as in the excellent punting of Hoyt.

In the first half Princeton was unable to stop Yale's rushes, and gained first down but three times. Both of Yale's touchdowns were made in this half, the first by a series of short rushes, aided by Leavenworth's 35-yard run, and the second by a blocked kick which rolled over the goal line and was secured by a Yale player. In the second half Princeton played a stronger game, and succeeded in rushing the ball to Yale's 25-yard line, where, however, it was lost on downs.
