TENNIS TOURNAMENT

Begins This Afternoon on Jarvis Field. Large Number of Entries.

Owing to rain, only six matches of the first round of the fall tennis tournament, which began yesterday on Jarvis Field, were played. The remaining matches of the first round will be played this afternoon at the same hours for which they were scheduled yesterday. The conditions governing the tournament, as announced in the CRIMSON yesterday, must be strictly adhered to. Results of matches must be posted by the winners in the CRIMSON office each day before 6.30 P. M., or both contestants will be considered out of the tournament.
