Fast Play in Basketball Practice.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The University basketball team defeated the second team in practice yesterday afternoon by the score of 26 to 10. In many respects the practice was the most encouraging that has been held this season, but the men still show disregard for some of the minor rules which in a regular contest would be penalized as fouls. The fast floor work and strong defense of the second team alone prevented a much larger score.

Tickets for the game with Pennsylvania Friday night are now on sale at Leavitt's, Wright and Ditson's and the Union, or may be procured of any member of the squad. Admission will be fifty cents. Two rows of seats will be placed around the running track and a temporary stand erected at the such end of the floor.

The line-up yesterday was: UNIVERSITY.  SECOND. Underwood, l.f.  r.f., Gallagher Grant, r.f.  l.f., Henderson Randall, c.  c., K. Smith Bigelow, l.g.  r.g., Harrison Gring, r.g.  l.g., Stinchfield
