In its first game of the year, the Freshman hockey team was defeated by St. Paul's School at Concord on Saturday afternoon, by a score of 4 to 0. Poor defense and lack of team-work--due largely to prevention of practice by the recent unfavorable weather--were chiefly responsible for the defeat; slowness and unfamiliarity with the use of the sides of the rink also contributed to it. The line-up was as follows: Goals--Cowdin 3, Irving 1. Time--20-minute halves.
