One hundred and eighteen men reported for winter track work yesterday. All the men were given dumb-bell drill and chest-weight exercises. In addition to this work the distance men took an easy run to Porter Station and back, and the half-milers ran eight laps on the board track on Holmes Field. Candidates for the relay teams were given practice in starting, and were also specially coached on turning the corners. The high-jumpers and pole-vaulters practiced in the Gymnasium. As soon as the snow leaves the ground, a practicing place will be prepared for broad jumpers.
