Gymnastic Meet with Columbia.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

A joint gymnastic exhibition has been arranged with Columbia for March 11 and will probably be approved at the next meeting of the Athletic Committee. The plan is to have a team of ten represent each university. Exhibitions will be given on the horizontal and parallel bars, flying rings, side-horse, tumbling and possibly in Indian club swinging. Boxing, wrestling and fencing bouts will also be hold.

About fifteen men are now practicing for the team daily in the Gymnasium under the direction of Mr. Dohs and much promising material has been developed in all the exercises. It is expected, however, that since a definite date for the exhibition has been arranged more men will report regularly, and systematic training will then begin.
