The January shoot for the Bancroft cup, held by the Gun Club yesterday afternoon at the traps at Wellington, was won by F. Ingalls '04, who scored 15 out of 20 birds thrown at unknown angles. H. P. Marshall '04 and T. L. Marsalis '04 were tied for the second place with a score of 13. This was the third of the series of monthly shoots for the possession of the Bancroft trophy, the first of which was won by F. Ingalls '04, and the second by T. L. Marsalis '04. Four successive victories or seven altogether will secure permanent possession of the trophy.
