The Sargent prize of $100, in memory of J. O. Sargent '30, is offered for the best metrical translation of a lyric poem of Horace, the competion being open to undergraduates of the University and Radcliffe. The poem set for translation this year is the fourteenth ode of the second book.

All contributions must be handed to Mr. J. G. Hart, University Hall 5 before May 1.
