RED TOP, June 16.--All three crews went out this afternoon immediately after the Yale practice. Under favorable conditions the University crew distanced the Freshmen by six lengths in the two miles. The Freshman boat did not travel well. The men splashed badly and rushed forward, thereby making it impossible to pull up the stroke.
The four oared crew was coached by Dr. J.P. Hutchinson, Captain of the '90 crew.
