Thirty men took part in the preliminary round of 18 holes, medal play, for the University golf championship at the Oakley Country-Club yesterday. The following men qualified for the finals of the tournament, which will be continued at match play next week: P. D. Lamson '05, 81; W. C. Chick '05, 82; H. C. Egan '05, 84; M. McBurney '06, 84; W. R. Tuckerman '03, 85; F. H. Ellis '06, 86; W. E. Egan '05, 87; and R. E. Daniels '05, 88, and H. B. Hollins, Jr., '04, 88 (tied for last place).
