BROWN GAME THIS AFTERNOON.

At 4 o'clock on Soldiers Field.--Postponed from Yesterday.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The baseball game with Brown, which could not be played yesterday, as the Brown team did not leave Providence on account of the threatening weather, will be played this afternoon at 4 o'clock on Soldiers Field.

The batting orders: HARVARD.  BROWN. Coolidge, 2b.  s.s., Patter H. Kernan, l.f.  c.f., Barry Matthews, s.s.  p., Lynch Randall, 1b.  r.f., Westcott Clarkson, p.  l.f., Abbott Stillman, c.f.  3b., Penley Daly, r.f.  2b., Gray R. Kernan, Stephenson, c.  c., Clark Carr, 3b.  1b., Bilding

The University squad had its usual batting and fielding practice yesterday afternoon. In the infield, Coolidge was again at second base, Skilton played short stop in Matthews's temporary absence on account of an injury, and Stephenson caught in the place of Kernan, who is recovering from a sprained ankle. The men all played with a great deal of spirit, and showed some improvement in throwing. Stephenson's throwing was rather weak, lacking both the speed and accuracy which had characterized Kernan's work.
