The Freshman lacrosse team was defeated by the freshman team of the Stevens Institute of Technology on Soldiers Field, Saturday afternoon, by the score of 7 goals to 2. Although the Freshmen showed general improvement over their playing in the game with the Columbia freshmen a week ago, they were out-classed in every department of the game. The Stevens team, besides being faster and more aggressive, showed well developed team play and good stick work. For the Freshmen, Galvin at centre did the best work; and Galey and Davis played well for Stevens.

The teams lined up as follows: HARVARD 1906.  STEVENS 1906. Warner, g.  g., Wright Bailey, p.  p., Randolph Evans, c.p.  c.p., Spillsbury Sloane, 1d.  1d., Hamilton Christenson, 2d.  2d., Gaffeny Merrill, 3d.  3d., Divey Galvin, c.  c., Galey Summers, 3a.  3a., Murray Embry, 2a.  2a., Freux Strauss, 1a.  1a., Cordozo Schwartz, o.h.  o.h., Davis Mendel, i.h.  i.h., Cole
