W. C. Chick '05 defeated P. D. Lamson '05, 2 up and 1 to play, and H. C. Egan defeated W. E. Egan, 2 up and 1 to play, in the semi-final round of the University golf championship tournament. None of the scores were very low, although H. C. Egan played well on the last nine holes, coming home in 38.
