In the interclass tennis tournament yesterday J. I. B. Larned defeated B. S. Prentice for the Sophomore class championship, 6-3, 4-6, 6-0, 6-1; and R. N. Smither defeated H. H. Whitman for the Freshman class championship, 6-3, 0-6, 7-5, 6-3. In the Junior class tournament W. P. Blagden defeated J. A. Bramwell by default.
The final round of the Junior class tournament will be played at 3 o'clock this afternoon between W. P. Blagden and A. Hunt.
The match between the winners of the Sophomore and Freshman tournaments will be played at 4 o'clock today between J. I. B. Larned '05 and R. N. Smither '06. The match should be close as Smither plays a somewhat faster game than Larned, but is not so accurate.
The match between the winners of the Senior and Junior tournaments will be played tomorrow, and the final match for the interclass championship on Thursday.
