Match play in the tournament for the University golf championship will be played over eighteen holes at the Oakley Country Club this week. The tie between R. E. Daniels '05 and H. B. Hollins '04 for eighth place in the qualifying round will be played today, probably at 2.30 o'clock. The preliminary round is to be played today or tomorrow, the semi-final round on Wednesday or Thursday, and the final round on Friday.

The pairing for the preliminary round is as follows: H. C. Egan '05 vs. winner of bye; W. E. Egan '05 vs. F. H. Ellis '06; P. D. Lamson '05 vs. M. McBurney '06; W. C. Chick '05 vs. W. R. Tuckerman '03.

The matches in the semi-final round will be between the winners of the first two pairs in the preliminary round, and the winner of the second two pairs.
