Professor D. G. Lyon, Curator of the Semitic Museum, will give the second of his series of five illustrated lectures on Egypt and Palestine this afternoon at 4 o'clock in the Fogg Lecture Room. His subject will be "The Temples and Rock-hewn Tombs of Thebes."
He will speak about the great conquerers and builders of the eighteenth, nineteenth and twentieth dynasties, Thothmes, Amenophis, Seti, and Rameses, and will show pictures of their temples and tombs, and of the mummies of these kings themselves.
Professor Lyon will give the third lecture of the series on April 30 on "The Sail Down the Nile."
