Class Rowing Practice.

The class crew squads of the Newell club were given practice in the tank at the University Boat-House yesterday afternoon, and were coached by Vail. The Weld crews were coached on the machines by Wray. Today the Weld crews will row in the tank and the Newell crews on the machines as follows: Sophomores at 3.40, Juniors at 4.20, Seniors at 5.

The Freshman squad has been divided between the two clubs and will row at the University Boat-House at 3 o'clock this afternoon, the Newell men reporting to Vail and the Weld men to Wray. The assignment is as follows:

Newell Freshmen--Flint, Cabot, Switzer, Amory, White, Merrill, Barrows, Moriarty, Kellogg, Fargo, Coventry, Chandler, R. H. Clarke, Chase, Buck, Preston, Whitman, Shurtleff, Perkins, Moller, Guild, Hooper, Monroe, Hellmann, Burr.

Weld Freshmen--L. W. Clark, Gibson, Shepard, Field, Burchard, McIntyre, Corlett, Abbott, Brown, Woodbridge, Pleasanton, Parker, Plumb, Soule, Lord, Morris, Emmons, Sloan, Irving, Williams, Filley, Gill, Montgomery, Foss, Wilcox, Hollingsworth, Hyde.

All Freshmen who have not locker cards of the clubs to which they have been assigned must exchange immediately at the Athletic office. Any men who have been rowing and whose names are not on the list printed above must hand their names to G. D. Boardman '03 or S. H. Wolcott '03, stating their weights and, if they rowed last fail, the clubs to which they belonged.
