At a meeting held in Worcester on Thursday evening, about fifty graduates of the University were present to organize a Worcester Harvard Club. The following officers were then elected: president, Senator G. F. Hoar '46; vice-presidents, Hon, Stephen Salisbury '56, and C. A. Chase '55; secretary and treasurer, S. H. Longley '94; members of the executive committee, Col. A. G. Bullock '68, Dr. Leonard Wheeler '66, S. S. Green '58, W. L. Jennings '89, and R. Washburn '94.
Sometime this winter the club will hold a dinner and a constitution will be then adopted and the list of charter members will be closed.
All Worcester men who hold a Harvard degree will be eligible for membership and all men who have been connected with the University for one year will be eligible by a vote of the executive committee.
