To encourage novices, the crew management have decided to hold in addition to the single scull race, previously announced, two other race, one for compromises, the other for wherries. All the races will be held on Wednesday, November 11. The single sculls will be rowed at 4 o'clock, the compromise race at 4.15, and the wherry race at 4.30.
The single scull race will be a one-mile straight-away, down stream, starting from the Arsenal Street Bridge. White posts have been driven in the bank to mark the start and finish of the race.
The course for the compromises and wherries will be one-half mile, down stream, starting from a point opposite the Stillman Infirmary and finishing opposite the Newell Boat Club. The wherry and compromise races will not be held unless there are three or more entries in each class. Entries should be made immediately to R. Foster '04, Weld 33.
