In the preliminary round of the interclass tennis team championship the Juniors defeated the Seniors in all six matches, and the Freshmen defeated the Sophomores by five matches to one. This afternoon the Juniors and the Freshmen will play in the finals. In case of a tie, three matches of doubles will be played.

Whitman '06, 6-2, 3-6, 6-4; K. S. Johnson '07 defeated R. N. Smither '06, 6-4, 4-6, 6-4; J. Morse '07 defeated G. K. Baker '06, 6-4, 5-7, 8-6; H. M. Harlow '07 defeated W. G. Graves '06, 7-5, 3-6, 6-0; A. Reggio '06, defeated S. T. Stackpole '07, 6-4, 3-6, 6-3; J. M. Eaton '07, defeated E. Cross '06, 7-5, 4-6, 6-0.
