At the meeting of the University Debating Club yesterday afternoon, the following officers were elected for the second half-year: President, G. Bettman '03; vice-president, J. Daniels '04; secretary, G. P. Adams '03; treasurer, E. M. Rabenold '01.
The announcement was made of the appointment of the following committee to suggest questions for the Yale debate: I. Grossman 2L., G. M. G. Nichols 3L., A. A. Ballantine '04. The president of the University Debating Club, and the presidents of the Sophomore and Freshman clubs were named as a committee to arrange for the outside debates of the Sophomore and Freshman clubs. Questions for the Yale debate were discussed, but no definite action was taken. A. Black '03 was elected a member.
