The 1906 basketball team last night defeated the Volkmann School team at the Volkmann gymnasium by a score of 29 to 6. By good passing and team work the Freshmen were able to keep the ball in their opponents territory the greater part of the time, but were very inaccurate in goal-throwing, missing many free throws.

The line-up was as follows: 1906.  VOLKMANN. Grant, l.f.  r.f., Wadsworth Ware, r.f.  l.f., Andrews Chase, Howland, c.,  c., Pevear, Rogers Wright, l.g.  l.g., Gilmer Quigley, r.g.  r.g., Hull, Watson, Reggio, Estabrook

Score--Freshmen. 29; Volkmann School. 6. Goals--Grant 9. Ware 2. Wright 2. Chase, Wadsworth, Andrews. Goals from fouls--Wadsworth 2. Grant.
