French Play for This Year.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The Cerele Francais play for this year will be "Le Mernur," a five act comedy in verse by Corneille. It is Corneille's only comedy, all his other dramatic works being tragedies. The play will be given as usual shortly before the Christmas recess. All men in the University who have any ability in speaking French may try for parts. As there are many female roles in the cast, candidates for women's parts will be especially needed.
