Second Nine, 13; All-Leiter, 8.

The Second nine easily defeated the All-Leiter Cup team yesterday afternoon by the score of 13 to 8. Although the Second nine made only one more hit than their opponents, they bunched them better and were quick to take advantage of the Leiter team's errors. The fielding of both teams was ragged, particularly that of the Leiter Cup team.

Clark pitched a steady game for the Second nine. Fosdick for the All-Leiter team was unsteady at critical moments, and forced in two runs by bases on balls. In the fifth inning he was replaced by Leonard who showed better control.
