The Sophomore lacrosse team won the class championship yesterday, defeating the Seniors by the score of 2 to 1. In the first half the Sophomores by an aggressive attack scored two goals; and in the second the Seniors, chiefly through the good work of Alvord, scored a goal within the last two minutes to play. Hoguet and Bennett played a strong game for the Sophomores, and Alvord and Edwards played well for the Seniors.

The members of the winning team are now entitled to lacrosse numerals, and to the cups give by the management.
