Worcester High School won the indoor athletic meet of the N. E. I. A. A. in Mechanics Hall on Saturday afternoon, defeating Worcester Academy by one point. Worcester High School won 20 points by taking first places in four events, while the Academy won 19 by securing points in every event but the mile run. Andover got third place, winning 12 points, and Exeter fourth, with 8 points. Two new records were established: Malcolm Williams of Noble's lowered the record for the 300 yards run to 35 seconds; and H. T. Murphy of Worcester High ran 1000 yards in 2 minutes, 28 4-5 seconds.
The annual meeting of the Association was held in the evening, and the following officers were elected: President, J. Connor, Exeter; vice-president, J. F. Doyle, Worcester Academy; treasurer, R. J. Leonard, Newton High School; executive committee, F. B. Sheuber '05, L. S. Keys, Cambridge High School; P. E. Steward, Cambridge Manual Training School.
The annual outdoor meet will be held this year at Soldiers Field on June 7.
