Arrangements for the chess match with Oxford and Cambridge have finally been completed and the Harvard men for the American team will be chosen within a week. The outlook is much brighter than at first, as C. T. Rice '01 has recovered from his illness and C. F. C. Arensberg '01 will try for the team.

The tournament, which is to begin at 10 a. m. on Monday, April 23, will be played from the rooms of the Knickerbocker Athletic Club in New York. The English team will use the rooms of the Chess Magazine in London. All games unfinished Monday night will be continued on the following day.
