LOWELL. JAN., 17, 1901. The Harvard basketball team defeated the Lowell Y. M. C. A. last evening by a score of 17 to 15. The playing was very even throughout, and it was only by very fast work that Harvard was able to win.

The Harvard team was made up as follows: C. Door; r.f. Gilles and Underwood; l.f., Fenwick; r.g., Lehmann; l.g., Clark.
