The candidates for the University hockey team will be called out on Thursday. Until cold weather comes, the men will be given practice in lifting and shooting in the Gymnasium, and next week will be sent on runs. As soon as there is good ice, however, the squad will practice in the rink, which, as last winter, will be on Holmes Field.

The prospects for a strong team this year are good, as five of last year's team and substitutes have returned. No schedule of games has been yet arranged.
