The candidates for the fall Freshman crews reported yesterday afternoon for the first time. At the Newell the men were coached in pair oars and on the machines, but no eights were formed. Four eights went out from the Weld and were followed by Wolcott and McGrew in the launch. J. B. Ayer '03 and G. B. Boardman '03 will have charge of the coaching at the Newell and S. H. Wolcott '03 at the Weld, while D. D. L. McGrew '03 will coach at both clubs occasionally.

The orders at the Weld were as follows:

First crew-Stroke, MacIntyre; 7, Lord; 6, Warren; 5, Newbury; 4, Gibson; 3, Yule; 2, Drayton; bow, Noyes.

Second crew-Stroke, Shepheard; 7, Towne; 6, Kerr; 5, Woodbridge; 4, Hutchinson; 3, Cobb; 2, Cory; bow, Leonard.

Third crew-Stroke, Merrill; 7, Hachet; 6, Perkins; 5, White; 4, McCreery; 3, Mills; 2, Kibbey; bow, Andrews.

Fourth crew-Stroke, Hale; 7, Carter; 6, Parker; 5, Plumb; 4, Dougherty; 3, Wilcox; 2, Thieriot; bow, Gay.
