The Climbers defeated the Chestweights in the final game of the scrub football series on Soldiers Field yesterday afternoon by a score of 12 to 0. The Chestweights were able to hold their opponents only once for downs, and both touchdowns were made by the Climbers on steady line bucking and substantial end runs by Dearborn and Skilton.

Pier kicked off to Skilton who ran back 10 yards before he was downed on the 20 yard line. By a series of line plunges and tackle back formations the ball was carried to the Chestweights' 9 yard line. Here the Chestweights held, but Pier made a poor kick-out and the Climbers got the ball on their opponents' 20 yard line. Lloyd, on a tackles back play, carried the ball over for the first touchdown. Skilton kicked the goal. Score: Climbers, 6; Chestweights, 0.

In the second half Skilton kicked over the goal line and Pier kicked to the Climbers on their 45 yard line.
