Geological Museum Lectures.

The Department of Geology has made arrangements to give a course of four public lectures in the new Geological Lecture Room in the University Museum on Friday afternoons at 4.30 o'clock, beginning November 28. Stereopticon views and experiments will be made use of to illustrate the lectures, which will include a wide range of geological topics. The subjects of the lectures are as follows: November 28, "The Lesson of the Colorado Canon," by Professor W. M. Davis; December 5, "Clouds: their Formation and Classification," by Professor R. deC. Ward; December 12, "Experimental Geology," by Dr. T. A. Jaggar; December 17, "Crystal Optics and the Structure of Crystals," by Professor J. E. Wolff.
