Chess Club Match Tonight.

The Chess Club has entered the tournament of the Metropolitan Chess League, which comprises the following seven other clubs: Lynn Chess and Checker Club, Somerville Y. M. C. A. Chess and Checker Club, Dorchester Chess Club, Union Chess Club, Boston Athletic Association, Boston Chess Club, and Press Club. On account of the Harvard team's inability to play during Christmas week and the mid-year examination period, it was found necessary to start ahead of the regular schedule, and consequently Harvard will play three matches this month. The first of these matches, with the Dorchester Chess Club, will be played tonight at the rooms of the Press Club in Boston. Each club will be represented by a team of six men, playing in order of strength.
