Professor F. Y. Edgeworth, of Oxford University, will deliver the first of a course of eight lectures on "Some Leading Principles of Political Economy and Statistics," in Sever 11 at 8 o'clock tonight. His special subject will be, "The Theory of Value Applied to International Trade."
The succeeding lectures will be given in Sever 11 on the following dates; October 20, "The Exceptions to the Rule of Free Trade"; October 24, "Value in a Regime of Monopoly"; October 27, "The Value of Land and other Factors of Production,"; October 31, "The Taxation of Urban Site Values"; November 3, "The Higher Theory of Statistics"; November 7, "Index Numbers"; November 10, "Supplementary."
It is Professor Edgeworth's desire that there should be questions and informs discussion for a half hour at the close of each lecture.
