MAJOR HIGGINSON TO SPEAK

Reception to New Students in the Union at 8 O'clock.

A reception to all new students of the University will be given by the members of the Union this evening at 8 o'clock. R. Derby '03, vice-president of the Union, will introduce the speakers, Major Higginson h'82 and Professor A. Lawrence Lowell '77. The members of the Freshman Reception Committee will meet the new men and introduce them to each other and to the upperclassmen present. In addition the University Glee Club will lead in singing football and other songs. It is hoped that all new men, whether members of the Union or not, will be present.
