The following men have been named by President Eliot for appointment as teachers in the Philippines, in response to the request of F. W. Atkinson '90, General Superintendent of Education in Manila: J. Smith '01, B. K. Daniels 1G., S. P. R. Thomas '01, P. H. Eley '01, E. H. Douglass '01 and W. Hill '01. They will leave for the Philippines shortly after Commencement.
