At a recent meeting of the Olympic games committee in Paris, L. P. Sheldon, an old Yale athlete, proposed in behalf of the Athletic Union of America, that a set of uniform international rules for athletic contests be drawn up, in order to do away with the present diversity in different countries. The committee is considering the proposal.
