HARVARD, 11; DARTMOUTH, 2.

Opponents' Errors Give Harvard a Large Score.

The baseball nine won the second game from Dartmouth on the University diamond Saturday afternoon by a score of 11 to 2. Both teams lacked life and snap, and the game was very slow and uninteresting. Harvard showed better judgment in batting and base-running than in Friday's game, and in general made a tolerably good showing for this time of year. All three of Harvard's errors were inexcusable and were the direct causes of Dartmouth's two runs. The Dartmouth players, though at times they handled the ball with good speed and accuracy, were very unreliable, and generally went to pieces at critical times.

Stillman, after giving three bases on balls in the first inning, settled down and pitched a strong, steady game, allowing Dartmouth only three scattered hits. Rollins, for Dartmouth, was fairly effective, and the eleven runs scored by Harvard were mostly due to fielding errors.
