The material for the Yale Freshman crew is excellent, and a very fast eight should be developed. The men have been on the harbor for about ten days, and are in good condition. The time is ragged however, and there is a decided tendency to wash in at the catch. The crew has recently been greatly strengthened by R. R. Coffin at 7, who has just entered College, and who owed on the Columbia University crew last year. At present the men are rowing as follows: Stroke, Adams; 7, Coffin, 6, Miller; 5, Weymouth; 4, Sooysmith; 3, Shaw; 2, Mohlman; bow, Delano.
