The Freshman basketball team was defeated last night by the Melrose High School by a score of 29 to 22. The Freshman team played a fast game and showed good team work, but the shooting for goals from the strange floor was less accurate than it has been in the games played heretofore. The Melrose team showed better endurance than the Freshmen and won the game by a rapid succession of goals in the second half.
