When the fund for the construction of Brooks House was raised, contributions were received from many persons who live at such a distance that they may never see the building for which they subscribed. For their benefit a pamphlet has been prepared and is now being sent out by the Building Committee of Brooks House, consisting of Professor F. G. Peabody, Professor G. H. Palmer, Dr. E. Winchester Donald, Dr. George A. Gordon '81, Dr. Edwin H. Abbott '55, and Mr. Robert Treat Paine '55. The pamphlet contains an account of the opening of the building with the speeches there delivered, a list of several hundred contributors, and the statement of the Treasurer, beside many photographs, a description of the building, and other data bearing directly or indirectly on the House.
